For more than 30 years, Dianne Stewart has been providing medical professionals with tailored financial advice. At the heart of her work as an advisor and leader is a firm belief that centring the client’s needs is the only option.
Prior to becoming one of Kooyong Group’s (now known as Avant Financial Services) Founding Partners, Dianne held senior leaderships roles at BOQ Specialist. She managed the company’s Victorian branch, leading a team of 42 and creating a nurturing, client-first culture that helped staff to progress their careers.
Dianne also spent 15 years running her own business, where she provided financial advice to medical clientele and built her understanding of their unique financial lifecycles. As well as helping to drive Avant Financial Services’ culture, Dianne specialises in advising clients about the establishment of new medical practises, whether the setup is small, or multi-partner.
She is also devoted to Avant’s philanthropic initiatives, especially where those initiatives can directly influence doctors’ lives. To that end, she is on the board of the Surgeons Impact Fund.
Come the weekends, Dianne loves the traditional Melbourne lifestyle – eating well, bike riding, Pilates, and during the winter months she enjoys skiing. She also loves the South Melbourne Market, and worked on the committee that ultimately helped it to become plastic-bag free.
