Jacqui Lombard is a natural leader, and after more than 20 years in finance, her desire to help others continues to drive her work each day.
As a Founding Partner and Director of Kooyong Group (now known as Avant Financial Services), she is focused on empowering our staff and treating them like family, an ethos that flows through to our clients. She is also responsible for leading our teams in New South Wales and Queensland.
Jacqui spent the past 12 years at BOQ Specialist and Investec (Australia), leading teams that catered specifically to medical clients. As the Melbourne Head of Residential Mortgages, she oversaw a period of remarkable growth.
After kicking off in 2009 with 3 staff, and settling $24 million of loans, Jacqui grew the team to 26 people over the next 5 years, and subsequently settled $626 million of loans.
From her time in sales and advisory, Jacqui is also experienced in a range of banking areas, including residential mortgages, cash deposits, business banking, transactional and credit cards, personal insurance, forex, fiduciary and investments.
She is a mother to three young boys, aged 17, 14 and 8, and moved to Australia from South Africa in 2008. She is immensely proud of the new life her family has built here.
