Jeff Miller

Jeff joined Avant Financial Services as Chief Growth Officer in November 2021, bringing with him 15 years of specialist finance experience at Investec and Bank of Queensland Specialist, as well as a lifetime of elite performance management and leadership skills from his time with Queensland Rugby and Rugby Australia as a player, coach and executive.

Jeff is a lateral thinker who regularly draws on his vast and varied experiences at every level of the elite sports and corporate ladder. His multi-faceted background fuels his entrepreneurial mindset, something he has tried to foster throughout his career.

Time as a player and as a coach in Australia’s elite Rugby Union pathways has been pivotal to Jeff’s development as a leader. He believes that one of the most important elements of team management is selecting the right people and then nurturing them so that they are empowered and motivated to be able to deliver the best results possible.

Jeff is still involved in Rugby Union, as the chairman of Queensland Rugby Union, and enjoys keeping his mind sharp with sudoku practice.
