About
Michael has a decade long background in investment banking that saw him travel to London, where he was responsible for managing the wealth and investment needs of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals as part of the Global South Asia Team within Standard Chartered Bank. Upon his return to Australia in 2018, he spent time developing his relationship management skills as a Private Banker with Westpac based in Melbourne.
He specialises in property investment, property finance, business development and debt consolidation, but his overarching passion is to ensure that finance is one less concern for his clients in order to allow them to focus on what they do best as medical professionals. By being approachable and conversational, he ensures he has the full picture to give the best possible advice.
Working for Avant Financial Services appealed to Michael for two reasons. First, working specifically with doctors means his genuine advice can help them to help others, and second, Avant is committed to giving back to the medical community by supporting organisations like Hand-n-Hand, a free and confidential peer support service for health professionals.
On weekends, Michael likes enjoying some quality time with his new young family, watching plenty of sport and discovering Brisbane’s best culinary delights.
