About
While he was renovating different properties in the early part of his career, Morné Lombard took a keen interest in the financial side of the real estate world. Eventually, his mortgage broker noticed, and offered him a job.
After completing his training and certification, Morné spent close to a decade running his own lending business. He has worked with a variety of lending products, from property and personal loans to asset financing and refinancing. Morné’s satisfaction at work comes from settling loans and then continuing his journey with each client.
Morné is particularly astute at managing complex portfolios and loan structures. He has worked on portfolios worth more than $350 million, and on one-off transactions worth as much as $3.5 million.
Morné’s family includes an 18-year-old, as well as a 17-year-old twins and a 14-year-old; making life away from work often frenetic. When the opportunity presents, he takes his kids off-road, camping and motorbiking in the Queensland wilderness.
